Twenty-five Piece Handpainted Porcelain Luncheon Service, England, 19th century, each with scalloped rim, wide cobalt border with gilt diapering, inner yellow border and central architectural landscape, titles on the reverse, consisting of eighteen plates, dia. 9 1/4 in.; two low compotes, dia. 8 3/4, ht. 2 3/4 in.; four compotes, dia. 8 1/4, ht. 3 3/4 in.; large compote, dia. 10 3/4, ht. 6 3/4 in.; each compote with open twig handles. Plates: each with stacking wear to inner border; some gilt wear along very edges; a few with minor surface scratches. Two Low Compotes: one with surface scratch; very light stacking wear Four Compotes: all very good throughout Large Compote: very good throughout
