Félix Edouard Vallotton (Swiss, 1865-1925) L'averse, from PARIS INTENSE, 1894. Initialed "fv" in pencil l.r., titled, initialed and dated in the matrix, artist's studio dry stamp u.l. Zincograph on paper, image size 9 x 12 1/4 in. (22.8 x 31.0 cm), unmatted, unframed. Condition: Margins 2 inches or more, tears to edges (all more than 1 1/2 inches outside of the image), toning, creases to margins. The tears are along all sides, as are the creases, but the images is well free of tears (as noted) and nearly so of the handling creases. The sheet measures 13 3/4 x 19 3/4 inches.
