Chinese, 20th century. A celadon to mustard jade carving depicting a mountainside temple scene in high relief with two Buddhistic figures seated on lower level beside a staircase with many layers of architecture above and behind them, with stylized trees and clouds above, the scene haloed by carved wave forms. Carving to a custom fitted wooden pedestal on four feet. Overall (incl. stand) approximately 9.75" tall x 7" wide x 5.5" deep.
