Late 18th Century Silver Navette, c. 1790, possibly Pierre Huguet dit Latour, Montreal, Canada, or Philip Hulbeart, Philadelphia, navette shaped, with hinged lid with ball finial to one side of top, beaded rim, body chased and embossed with reeding, on trumpet foot with reeded rim, ht. 3, lg. 5 1/8 in., approx. 6 troy oz. marked P.H in rectangle twice. stem of foot with some compression , and resultant old, small metal tear. minor dent to one side of top from lid finial.
