Anglo-Indian Sandalwood, Ivory, and Inlay Necessaire Box, early 20th century, rectangular, with raised central panel and sloped sides, side lifting handles, inlaid throughout with white metal, ebony, bone, and green-dyed bone in pyramid and spherical patterns, interior of lid with mirror removing to document storage, interior with removable fitted tray with pair of inkpots and three lidded wells, wd. 12 3/4 x 8 3/4 x 5 in. mirror plate replaced. some interior divider pieces missing. 2 side trim piece of ivory with a break, and reglued. a few minor glue repairs/touch-ups to inlay. lacking one ball foot.
