Cased Austro-Hungarian Silver Sewing/Lacemaking Set, early 19th century, in wooden case applied with a black and white print of a scenic Alpine town view, interior of lid with mirror, case fitted with silver needlecase formed as a dairymaid, pierced silver patterns, a thimble, a finger guard, a retractable pencil, and silver handled scissors and small knife, box wd. 7 3/4 in. hinged of box lid broken (lid off but present). losses to applied print. thimble with repairs. small dent to back of maid-form needlecase. pencil likely a later replacement.
