Louis XV Silver Claret Jug, mid-late 18th century, baluster form, with rocaille scroll lid finial, short spout, reeded rim, reeded banding to neck, and with plain girdle, on domed foot, with guilloche rims, engraved with small crest, ht. 10 in., approx. 30 troy oz. good, with minor age wear. good marks to lid. engraved monogram or other marking to underside of foot obliterated.
