An important Philadelphia silver coffee pot, ca. 1780 , bearing the touch of Joseph and Nathaniel Richardson with an elaborately engraved monogram for Mordecai and Hannah Lewis , the double bellied form with foliate ornament on spout and double scroll handle, the base with gadrooned band, the reverse bears an early 20th c. monogram of Doris E. Sheaffer, a direct descendent of Hannah and Mordecai, 38 ozt., 12 1/2" h.
