Paint-decorated Slide-lid Box, probably northern Europe, 18th century, rectangular box with dovetail construction, combed decoration with blue borders on top edges, (repaired cracks), ht. 5 7/8, wd. 9 1/2, lg 11 1/2 in. Repaired cracks along molded edge of one side, and also two cracks along the top of the back panel about 1 in. down from the top.
