Girandole Clock by T. E. Burleigh, Jr., Winchester, Massachusetts, c. 1975, with white painted case, carved eagle finial and lower pedestal, gilded bezel over the painted iron dial signed L. Curtis' Patent , and frames enclosing convex reverse-painted glasses, the waist inscribed L. Curtis Patent , the lower Marriage , eight-day weight powered timepiece movement with pendulum, ht. 47 in. Note: This "Bride's Model" girandole clock is a quality copy of the period example at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. Minor losses on gilded elements, small touch up on dial at winding hole. Case marking "TEB 11".
