Manner of Peter Paul Rubens (Flemish, 1577-1640) Delilah Unsigned. Oil on canvas, 36 1/4 x 28 in. (92.0 x 71.0 cm), unframed. Condition: Lined and mounted onto cradled Masonite, retouched, craquelure. The retouch is throughout the composition, in dots and dashes as well as some larger areas including some to her face. Some of it is relatively new; other is from previous restoration(s). The craquelure is stable. The painting has been cleaned in the last decade or so.
