Attributed to Belisario Corenzio (Italian, 1558-1640) Pentecost Unsigned, J. Scholz collector's mark stamped on the reverse. Ink and wash on paper, squared in red chalk, sheet size 9 x 11 in. (22.9 x 27.9 cm), matted, unframed. Condition: Creases, toning, taped to the front mat on the reverse. There is masking tape to the edges on the reverse, plus to repairs near the upper edge. There is a heavy horizontal crease near the top of the sheet, plus additional minor wrinkles and creases. The toning is even. N.B. The attribution is stylistic.
