Art Deco Rock Crystal, Diamond and Onyx Jabot, Cartier, Henri Lavabre, c. 1915, designed as a carved rock crystal quill pen with diamond and buff-top onyx highlights, maker's mark for Henri Lavabre, French guarantee stamps, no. 0378, signed Cartier Paris, Londres, New York. Note: Lavabre's workshop produced exclusively for Cartier from 1906-1921. In addition to their platinum, diamond and gem-set work, Lavabre produced for Cartier items in the Russian style that provided significant competition for Faberge. Cartier Jabot one small diamond melee on the scroll on the back part has a chip to the crown one onyx on the front piece has a small chip both are unobtrusive
