Important Mosaic Glass Rondel Window Glass with metal cames Possibly New York, late 19th/ early 20th century Comprised of green and blue rippled glass in a striated palette, inner green border, centered by a mosaic of interlocking circles, backed by another layer of glass, not examined out of wood frame, inner dia. 36 3/8, outer dia. 40 in. Provenance: Free Hospital for Women, Brookline, Massachusetts. It is purported that this window was on the opposing side of the signed Tiffany window in the ward room at the hospital, and was removed when HVAC was installed in the building.
