Pair of Large Reformed Gothic Steel Fire Dogs, late 19th century, each with three tall spires capped with leaftip molded designs and applied with a floral medallion, large ring and an adjustable hooked arm, base of inverted U-shape and openwork pseudo-armorial, ht. 46 in. Terrific quality; areas of old rusting and discoloration, now stabilized, mostly to bases; age typical minor defects.
