French Directoire Brass-mounted and Marble-top Commode, early 19th century, grey flecked white marble top with rounded corners, the frieze fitted with three drawers above two long drawers, on turned legs ending in toupee feet, ht. 35, wd. 52, dp. 24 in. All brass mounts present, one loose; dark, somewhat thin color; marble top with minor defects; good proportion; age typical minor additional defects.
