Portrait Miniature of Two Sisters in White Dresses, c. 1830, watercolor on ivory, three-quarter length portrait of the girls, possibly twins, one wearing a pearl necklace, the other wearing a chain necklace with a pendant portrait miniature of a gentleman, 3 1/2 x 2 1/2 in., mounted in a period molded giltwood frame. Condition: Small paint losses near both girls' hair part, right shoulder of girl on right, and edges and corners.
