Federal Gilt-gesso Eglomise Mirror, probably Massachusetts, c. 1815-20, the tablet showing a basket of fruit flanked by red drapery, (imperfections), ht. 26 1/8, wd. 14 5/8 in. Regilded, some flaking of paint on tablet, scattered retouch to tablet, appears to have original backboard with chamfered edges, one portion of crest molding is missing on u.r. edge, mirror replaced.
