Small Pewter Plate, Thomas Danforth II, Middletown, Connecticut, 1775-1782, round plate with single reeded brim, centered with engraved inscription "Daniel Stocking 1727," marked with two worn lion in gateway touches and four small hallmarks, (scratches, pitting, and dents), dia. 8 in. Jacobs mark #113, there are 1 1/2 and a 1/2 in. slight inward dents on rim edge,scattered surface pitting but mainly on booge, scratches primarily at center of plate.
