U.S., Patented by Charles Kirk, April AD 1847 , 10 in. dia. painted zinc Roman dial, eight-day, single wind, time and strike lever escapement balance wheel movement with dual escape wheels, ht. 13 in. Dial relined, lacking glass in brass bezel, no other significant restoration.
