Cliffton Peacock (American, b. 1953) Lot of Five Works: Gray Seascape, unsigned, oil on Masonite, 13 5/8 x 17 in., unframed; Night Seascape , unsigned, oil on Masonite, 9 7/8 x 14 in., unframed; Violet Seascape , unsigned, oil on Masonite, 12 x 10 in., unframed; Untitled (Man Walking) , signed "Cliffton Peacock" l.r., inscribed "A.P." l.l., identified and dated "1986" on a label from Obelisk Gallery, Boston, affixed to the reverse, etching with chine colle, sheet size 15 x 11 1/4 in., framed; Hand , signed, titled and dated "Cliffton Peacock/...1980-81" on the reverse, a label from Obelisk Gallery affixed to the reverse, oil on Masonite, 12 x 14 in., framed. Condition: Night with losses; Violet with figural pentimento; Walking not examined out of frame. There are several minute losses to Hand and one of the seascapes. All of the oils might benefit from cleaning. Although the etching has not been removed from its frame, there are no other visible condition issues to report.
