Porter Blanchard Oval Dish Sterling silver Massachusetts and California, early 20th century Oval lobed form with engraved monogram inside dish, marked Porter Blanchard, Sterling, approx. 7 troy oz., ht. 7/8, lg. 6 1/8 in. Note: Porter Blanchard's father worked for Arthur Stone as a silversmith. Porter and his brother Richard were members of the Boston Society of Arts and Crafts. Porter moved to California in 1923, and his father and brother followed thereafter.
