Hugo Lonitz Earthenware Three-Piece Clock and Garniture, Germany, late 19th century, each blue enamel decorated and with gilt trim, the clock with four gargoyle feet and central satyr mask supporting fruiting garland, the top with enameled putti flanking a central urn finial, overall ht. 23 3/4; together with a pair of candlesticks formed as gargoyles supporting shields, ht. 12 7/8 in. Clock: break and simple repair to a corner finial and back corner leaf along top; restored to necks of both putti; restored throyugh at socle of urn finial; one side garland broken off and simply glued; extensive hairlines running vertically through body on backside; end of one wing to backside missing. Candlesticks: one tooth to a foot broken and simply glued; no other restorations, chips or cracks.
