Mediaeval-style Halberd Pole Arm, paneled pointed blade with ax head to one side, and pointed terminals, full lg. approx. 85 in. Provenance: Higgins Armory Museum, Worcester, Massachusetts. Very clean and polished surface; there is a small crimp and possible crack just below the extended spear end and between the curved blades. Two unexplained holes to the handle indicates that it was adapted or a mount of some kind was lost.
