Continental Walnut and Inlay Strong Box, 18th century, rectangular, with molded corners, the front and two sides inset with panels of scroll inlay within bead-carved frames, with wrought iron hinges, lifting handle, and escutcheon, opening to interior with small till, wd. 13 1/4, ht. 8 5/8, dp. 8 7/8 in. Top cracked from side to side through the center; age typical wear and minor defects.
