English Earthenware "Indian Scroll" Pattern Soup Tureen, marked Thomas & Higgins, mid-19th century, ovoid, with crabstock handles and spreading foot, lid with twin artichoke handle, with underglaze blue scrollwork, iron red floral, bird, and geometric printing, with gold and green painted accenting, ht. 11 1/4 in. faint firing line to join of one artichoke to lid. minor loss to applied enamels; minor age typical crazing.
