Longwy Faience Company Jug, France, c. 1880, moon flask shape with entwined handle, polychrome enamel decorated to either side with cartouches of stags surrounding a central stag motif, crackled ground, impressed mark, ht. 7 1/4 in. Excellent condition throughout with no cracks, chips or restorations. Impressed with number 1087 under the base.
