Near Pair of Early Silver Trefid Spoons, London, late 17th century, maker's mark WG with crown above and mullet below, rattailed, with stippled engraved monogram, and one with stippled date 1695, lg. 8 in., approx. 4 troy oz. total. both struck only with maker''s mark (struck three times on each). One stippled only with monogram; with melt damage to tip of bowl. The other stippled with the same monogram, but also dated 1695, and with "born Feb 24". Minor age wear.
