Attributed to Adolphe Joseph Thomas Monticelli (French, 1824-1886) Figures in a Woodland Clearing Unsigned. Oil on panel, 10 1/4 x 15 1/4 in. (26.0 x 38.5 cm), framed. Condition: Subtle curve to panel, surface grime, craquelure. There are scattered varnish inconsistencies and small scattered areas of retouch. Stable craquelure throughout with areas of alligatoring. The work needs cleaning.
