Lot of Two Landscapes: James Morgan Lewin (American, 1836-1877), Twilight by the Lake, signed "JMLewin 1862" l. r., identified on a label affixed to the reverse; American School, 19th/20th Century, Boat on the River, unsigned, artist identified as "R. Windt" on a presentation plaque. Oil on canvas, sizes to 12 x 18 in. (30.5 x 45.7 cm), framed. Condition: Boat lined, minor retouch/varnish inconsistencies, both with surface rubs, surface grime.
