Watercolor Harper Family Record, America, early 19th century, watercolor and pen and ink on paper depicting the vital statistics of George F. Harper, born June 2, 1779, and his wife Deborah Dupignac, born February 22, 1783, married October 10, 1800, and their seven children, ornamented with hearts, flowers, and weeping willow trees, (toning, repaired tear), 16 x 12 in., in a period mitered wood frame. the top edge was probably trimmed some time ago, fairly unobtrusive horizontal tear just above center with a sheet of conservation paper backing the work to hold it together and stabilize the toning.
