Identified in inscriptions in the matrix. Small folio lithographs with hand-coloring on paper, sheet sizes 9 3/4 x 13 3/4, 10 x 14, and 12 3/4 x 16 in., respectively; Spring and Winter including contemporary wood frames. Condition: Toning, light stains, and other imperfections. Note: These lithographs are ranked in the original "Best 50" and "New Best 50" as follows: American Homestead Spring, no. 45 in the "New Best 50"; American Homestead Autumn, no. 34 in the "New Best 50"; American Homestead Winter, no. 23 in the original "Best 50" and no. 5 in the "New Best 50," small folio. Spring- margins of 5/8 in. or more, repairs to a few small margin tears,one may go into image at c.r. , margin stains; Autumn- margins of 3/4 in. or more, 3/4 angled tear repaired at upper l. margin, small tear extreme u.r. corner; Winter- margins of 1 3/4 in. or more, several well done conservation repaired margin tears, not into image, fairly unobtrusive unless under close inspection.
