Late 19th/Early 20th century. Pair of matching Baroque style andirons or chevets with patinated brass finish composed of cast iron with a brass metal finish oblong teardrop finial at top above stacked acanthus leaf covered orbs above a gadrooned tapered shaft accented at bottom with leaf tips supported on scrolled foliate pierced base above scrolled feet. Unmarked. Height 20.5", width 10.125", depth 20.75". Provenance: From a Private Collection in Rabun Gap, Georgia.
