Five Calligraphic Drawings, America, c. 1845, fanciful drawings in pen and ink on paper including two depictions of a bird perched on a branch, Neptune in coastal waters with vessels and a lighthouse, a cartouche surmounted by a swan, and a bird in flight, a photocopy of a calligraphic work identifies the penmanship was done by a gentleman named Edwin Mander of Coventry, in 1845, 8 1/2 x 6 3/4 in., unframed.
