Near Pair of Chippendale Mahogany Carved Side Chairs, Pennsylvania, late 18th century, the serpentine carved crest rail with molded terminals centering a foliate device, above the pierced intertwining scroll-carved gothic splat, flanked by raked molded stiles on the overupholstered seat with serpentine front on Marlborough chamfered frontal legs joined to the raking rear legs by square stretchers, old surface, (imperfections), ht. 37 1/2, seat ht. 18 in.
