Wallpaper Covered Bandbox and Two Painted Covered Wooden Boxes, America, early 19th century, oval band box covered with yellow, ocher, and white varnished wallpaper with leaves on a cross-barred ground, the interior containing two tortoiseshell hair combs, the interior cover retaining manufacturer's label "Mark Worthley, Band and Fancy Paper Box Manufacturer, No. 119 Washington Street, Opposite the head of Water st. BOSTON;" together with a round blue-painted storage box, the bentwood sides with two opposing lapped fingers, and an elongated oval box decorated with black floral and foliate designs, (imperfections), ht. 4 1/2, 2 3/4, 1 7/8, dia. 8, 6 5/8, 9 3/8 in., respectively.
