Classical Mahogany Carved and Flame Mahogany Veneer Specimen Chest, possibly John and Thomas Seymour, c. 1820, the rectangular top with applied rounded edge above two hinged doors each having recessed panels opening to an interior of six drawers with cast brass lion's head pulls, the sides with cast brass lion's head carrying handles, on double-beaded base and bulbous turned and fluted brass-inlaid feet, refinished, (minor imperfections), ht. 18 1/4, wd. 18, dp. 14 3/4 in.
