English Rockingham-type Scenic Porcelain Dessert Service, mid 19th century, handpainted with various landscape scenes to center, with smaller scenic cartouches on overglazed blue ground, comprising a large compote (ht. 6 3/8, wd. 13 3/8), three stylized shell-shaped serving dishes (wd. 9 1/8), a pair of oblong serving dishes (wd. 11 1/2), a single oblong serving dish (lg. 10 1/2), and twenty plates (dia. 9 in.), all with gilt accenting.
