KPM Porcelain Topographical Decorated Dessert Service, Germany, 19th century, each with blue ground border and central enamel decorated subject framed within a gilt band, consisting of seventeen plates, (light gilt and enamel stacking wear throughout), dia. 6 3/4 in.; two compotes, dia. 9 1/8 in., ht. 5 in.; and two open sauce tureens with gilded caryatid handles, reliefs to either side of two putti by a head of Neptune, and of a mask head of a Bacchanalian boy, (one with hairline and rim chip), lg. 8 1/2 in.; each titled on the reverse, printed overglaze and underglaze marks.
