Federal Cherry Tall Chest, probably Kentucky, 1820s, the molded top overhangs a narrow frieze of contrasting veneers and a case of six cockbeaded drawers with bone-inlaid escutcheons, above a serpentine skirt inlaid with a sawtooth pattern, flanked by flaring French feet with spurs, wooden pulls appear to be original, old surface, (imperfections), ht. 52, wd. top 41 1/2, case, 39 1/4, dp. 18 1/4, case, 19 1/2 in.
