Jarvin Lee Parks (American (Atlanta, Georgia), 20th century (d. 1967)), "Cirque d' Hiver (Winter Circus)", mixed media artwork with intaglio print with gouache paint on paper laid down on artist's board, pencil signed lower left. Abstract artwork on paper with geometric floating forms (circles and lines) painted in light purple, mustard yellow, vermilion red, rust orange and white over loose cloudy grey to black printed background. Framed approximately 19" x 16.25" Unframed 14" x 11". Note: Jarvin Lee Parks was an Atlanta artist and poet whose work is represented in High Museum of Art. He grew up in Tennessee and later attended the Atlanta Art Institute in the early 1950s--the school was one of the central facets to the city's artistic community.
