Great Lakes Finger Woven Beaded Wool Sash, early 19th century, tightly woven in various shades of green, ochre yellow, and red in an asymmetrical stripe pattern, with interwoven zigzag and stacked diamond devices using white pony beads, long partially braided fringe at the ends, some with white pony bead trim, (wool loss, minor fading of wool), lg. including fringe 72 in. Provenance: Deaccessioned from a Massachusetts library museum.
