Collection of Eleven British Lancers "Sweetheart Pins," late 19th-early 20th century, comprising two sterling death's heads, hallmarked Birmingham, 1895, maker's mark "EN," with four other death's heads: one silvertone, one silvertone stick pin, one goldtone with blue enamel scalloped border, and the fourth a goldtone bar pin; four 21st Lancers examples: one 21st Empress of India Lancers hallmarked Birmingham, 1908, maker's mark "MB", one a two-tone sabre bar pin marked sterling by "A. Bros.," one a sterling pendant, and the other a bar pin of three goldtone buttons; the last a shield shaped pin applied with printed plaque for the 17th Lancers.
