Nock, London, the walnut stock with crosshatch carving, end of muzzle engraved with motto "Feare (sic) My Death Knell," tapered barrel engraved with maker's name H. Nock, and stamped with English proof and view stamps, side of stock near flintlock engraved again with name, decorative engraving to metal mounts, with spring-loaded chamfered bayonet along top of barrel, with removeable ramrod, lg. 31 5/8 in.
