Continental School, 19th century. Miniature figural painting on vertically aligned rectangular ivory panel depicting a young elegant woman wearing a blue and white dress shielding herself from the sun with parasol and sitting side saddle on a tan horse being greeted by a young man with feathered cap, hunting dogs, and other men on horseback, figure walking down stairs with sporting dog on leash in a lush outdoor setting with green leaves dotted with pink, light blue and white blossoms in large tree on left side of work. Apparently unsigned. Framed approximately 10.5" x 9.5". Panel approximately 4.75" x 3.6".
