Classical Four-Piece Coin Silver Tea Service, William Thomson, New York, New York, 1815-34 comprising teapot, covered sugar bowl, cream jug and waste bowl, each rectangular, with partly-fluted body on conforming base, the finial, rim, and base with a band of embossed shells, medial band with bright-cut scrolled floral and foliate designs, acorn motifs above fluting, angled handles, the teapot with ivory insulators, each marked under base, (minor imperfections), ht. 4 1/2-7 3/4 in., approx. total 72 troy oz.
