Federal Mahogany and Tiger and Bird's-eye Maple Veneer Dressing Bureau, attributed to John and Thomas Seymour, Boston, c. 1820, the mirror with shaped cresting above a cockbeaded and molded mitered frame with tiger maple veneer crossbanding flanked by supports and pierced scrolled brackets on three cockbeaded bird's-eye maple veneered short drawers and projecting top with molded edge and ovolo corners and case of two cockbeaded half- drawers and two graduated long drawers flanked by quarter-engaged reeded posts continuing to tapering ring turned and reeded legs, replaced brass pulls, old finish, (minor imperfections), ht. 72, wd. 36, dp. 20 1/2 in.
