Classical Carved Mahogany and Mahogany Veneer Mirrored Bureau, attributed to John and Thomas Seymour, Boston, c. 1825, the scrolled backboard and rectangular mirror with shaped cornice on block ring- turned posts and scrolled brackets and rectangular case of three short drawers the molded projecting case of two half-drawers and three recessed graduated long drawers on a crossbanded convex skirt, all flanked by vase and ring turned spiral- carved columns continuing to turned feet, the sides with recessed panels, replaced brasses, old refinish, (minor imperfections), ht. 80, wd. 41, dp. 22 1/4 in.
