"At The Village Well", oil on paper mounted to wood board, signed lower right "TREVOR HADDON", verso with graphite inscription "Arthur Trevor Haddon 1864-1941". Genre scene painting depicting a group of women in vibrantly colored and patterned dresses flanking a well at center set beside stone stairs with a boy approaching the well from the viewer's left riding a donkey and one woman offering water to the animal from her basin, with a mother and child seated at left in shadow at the opening of a city or village street stretching backward in shadow beneath tall sunlit buildings. Framed approximately 12.5" x 16.25". Unframed approximately 8" x 12". Provenance: From the Estate of Channing S. Jun, M.D., Eastman, Georgia.
