An Edwardian movement inlaid mahogany double bed comprising a headboard and footboard, the headboard with three panel inserts, beneath a pediment with dentil-moldings, supported by two applied carved pilaster columns with ionic capitals, and two inlaid Neoclassical drop details. Footboard also with three panel inserts, one central rectangular panel flanked by two square side panels, separated by applied pilaster columns with ionic capitals, with Neoclassical-style floral inlays to each side panel. Unmarked. Headboard approximate height 50.5", width 60.25", depth 3.25".
